HAMMERED NAil
Project overview.
The task was to create an anti-tech handheld that could exist or is yet to be made. The handheld has to have a function. The function must address the pain points of the product's target demographic. The product must consider the humane factors of handheld devices, including body measurements, user motions, and the various ways the product is worn or held. The product chosen to complete this project was a breathalyzer that served a better role in preventing intoxicated accidents behind the wheel.

Key insights for breathalyzer design include easy use when intoxicated, the ability to call either Uber or Lyft, portability in pockets, rechargeability, a digital display, lifesaving features against drunk drivers, key attachment, and a convenient Uber or Lyft logo that lights up when a ride is ordered.
Task Flow: Walk out of the bar, reach for keys, pull out keys, look for breathalyzer on key chain, turn on the breathalyzer, blow into breathalyzer, fail to blow, orders Uber® or Lyft®, bluetooth charges bank account, Uber® or Lyft® arrives, make it home without getting pulled over and putting lives at risk.
Pain Points: The product design addresses several key issues. Breathalyzers are bulky and cumbersome, typically used only when pulled over. Additionally, phones can be difficult to navigate when intoxicated, and their complex interfaces often cause confusion.
Features: Features a clear, easy-to-read LED digital display for quick and accurate feedback.
