The primary aim of this assignment is to gain a comprehensive understanding of plastic manufacturing processes and to apply your knowledge to design a product that leverages a specific plastic manufacturing process. Students will explore the intricacies of a plastic manufacturing method, conduct in-depth research, create detailed 3D model renders, and a prototype for their designed product.

What is N*66: N*66 is a portable speaker that has multiple parts. The outer shell or speaker carrier is injection molded plastic that is ready for assembly right after taking the plastic out of its mold, the handles and layered with a textured rubber for grip. The front right side includes a display, and the speaker sits in between the two shells that join using female and male ends.
